Heart Health Checks

We offer a comprehensive cardiovascular (healthy heart assessment) blood pressure, ECG and discussion of your individual risk and advice about modifiable factors. 

Patients who are over 45 yrs ( > 30 years do indigenous patients ) who have risk factors for heart disease or a family history can have an annual healthy heart check covered by Medicare

They need to have had fasting bloods done in the previous 6 months- the check includes an ECG and observations with the clinic nurse and then an appointment with the GP

This is a 15 Minute appointment with the nurse and then a 15 minute appointment with the GP
